Clement James Music Album

Cross River State correspondent of New Telegraph newspaper, Mr. Clement James has taken to music as another vocation he can make a career out of.

The album of four tracks is tagged; “Mummy.” Mummy is the first track and it renounces wife-battery which has become common place in our society, and which many women have been silently enduring over time, with a call on men to respect their wives and walk away in moment of anger.

Other tracks in the album include; “Parasites in Paradise,” a track which mirrors the deceit of Politicians who while pretending to serve the public, are actually serving themselves.

“Mary” is another track in the album which tells a story of a young lady who ran away from her boyfriend to meet a wealthy man only to return to her former friend when the wealthy man’s money finished.

“Landlord” reminds Nigerians about the perpetual greed of Nigerian house owners who have continued to take advantage of the poverty of Nigerians, but most importantly, the inability of governments at various levels to take any serious steps to alleviate the current housing shortfall in the country.

According to James, who in 2014 waxed a campaign song for some politicians in Cross River State, four more songs are in the offing and may follow in the months to come.
